The Make Healthy Normal Zone took part in the 3 day Kidtopia Festival at Parramatta Park over the weekend welcoming thousands of kids, big and small, with fun outdoor activities, including a giant inflatable slide, totem tennis, soccer and hula-hooping. Some of our favourite sports people from football, netball and AFL came along to help spread the messages about the small steps we can take to eating healthy and getting active. Matilda’s star Caitlin Cooper visited our zone, helping us promote healthy living and eating and having a kick around with our Zone visitors.
Make Healthy Normal Zone also attracted Australian Chinese TV, TVB, and Vietnamese media Vietluan who captured the fun moments with visitors and their families and interviewed Caitlin Cooper for some tips on how to Make Healthy Normal. One of the highlights was Caitlin Cooper teaching host Vito from Australian Chinese TV how to kick a ball. Caitlin’s advice: “Do more exercise and make healthy food choices.”
