Open Inner West Festival is back on 16-25 June! As the name suggests, Inner West Sydney, one of the most diverse suburbs in Sydney, will be open to all visitors to explore its wide cultural diversity which includes up to 57 cultures across 24 suburbs.
The 5th annual Multicultural 7-a-side knock-out Football Tournament 2017 will be held on 11th and 18th June, in Inner Western Sydney. The tournament will see 12 teams compete for the final trophy with players from 13 cultures taking part, from Afghanistan to Bhutan, Congo to Iran and many more.
Football, as a sport, is unique in its ability to bring people from different cultures together, particularly in Australia which is considered a melting pot of diversity.

We applaud the tournament’s vision is social cohesion and transformation through football – the most popular sporting game in the world – to buil mutual understanding and consolidation between all cultures.
